Beating some of their toughest opponents like Zane Trace and Piketon, the Unioto football team proved that strong leadership and a close bond would carry them into the playoffs and would end the 2017 season with a successful 8-3 record. “We all came in everyday and worked hard as a team,” said senior Dalton Poole. “I want someone playing with me that has passion and effort for this game…I think a lot of us had that this year and that’s why we were so successful.”
